Paul Schmitz Moorman (or Kid Paul) (* 1975) is a former German DJ and acid house and trance musician.
He moved with his family to Berlin in 1981 and appeared in the music video "Herzlichen Glückwunsch" of the rock group Spliff. In 1983 he began to breakdance and had classical piano lessons for a short time.
At 13 years old, under Kid Paul released "Acid in my House" through Brian Carter Music. Partnering with Harald Blüchel, under Energy 52, released Café del Mar (1993), one of the most famous trance songs ever. In 1995, Schmitz-Moormann terminated his DJ career and founded the label ISM productions.
